IBM released their IBM System/360 line around the same time ASCII was being standardized in the early 1960s. IBM therefore developed their own EBCDIC (Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code) for use with punch card peripherals, and still uses it on mainframes today.
There are several different EBCDIC code pages. Similar to ASCII, the first group of characters represents non-printable control commands. Below is the standard set of EBCDIC codes.
